Leaps & Bounds is a small, locally owned dog training business based in Rosevears, just outside Launceston on the West Tamar.
We believe training should be fun and rewarding for both dogs and their humans. Our training utilises science-based, positive reinforcement methods, we help you and your dog build a bond and work together as a team.
Our services include personalised one-on-one behaviour consultations, friendly small group classes, including puppy classes, virtual video lessons, Little Paws Puppy Packages, agility and trick training, rally obedience, assistance and therapy dog training.

A bit about Kathy
Kathy is a qualified, accredited and experienced dog trainer passionate about building connections between dogs and their people through games and positive, reward-based training. As a Trick Dog Judge and training enthusiast, Kathy regualrly showcases her dogs' talents at events such as Agfest. She has extensive expertise in canine behaviour and training and can offer valuable guidance and handlers at all levels.
Having had dogs all her life, Kathy had always been interested in how you can influence your dog’s behaviour by changing your own behaviour but it wasn’t until her three children had all left home and Alf the Smithfield entered her life that Kathy’s passion for dogs became more than a hobby.
