Puppy Preschool
Puppy Preschool Class
Suitable for puppies from 8 weeks to 16 weeks.
Cost is $140 for a 4 week block.
Our next available class will commence on Wed, May 21st, 2025, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
Bookings are essential.
Leaps & Bounds Dog Training Offer a 4-week Puppy Preschool Program that will equip you with all the tricks of the trade to help with preparing your puppy to be an independent resilient puppy that can cope with the challenges in our world.
The Course
4 x one-hour lessons with an emphasis on how to build a confident and resilient puppy.
What to bring for your puppy?
Please bring lots of high value treats cut up small and a slightly hungry puppy, treat pouch, water bowl, lead and harness or collar, puppies blanket or bed (optional but can sometimes help nervous puppies settle) Please note we must see a current vaccination certificate. This can be emailed in the form of a clear photograph prior to attending. Puppies are required to have had at least their first vaccination one week prior to attending.

Back2Basics Class
4 week block. $140. Next available class to commence on Tuesday, March 11th from 6.30pm. Bookings essential.
This class is one of our most popular and as the name suggests it covers the basic training skills required to have a well-mannered dog. Each week Kathy will take you through a series of different training exercises to help you and your dog master basics skills like, clicker training, loose leash walking, coming when called, sit, drop and stay, calm greetings, learning to settle on a mat and so much more. Class size is limited to 5 dogs only.g
Suitable for dogs from 16 weeks upwards. Dogs must be fully vaccinated and proof of vaccination is required. Vaccination certificate photo can be emailed prior to the class to enquiries@leapsbounds.com.au or a copy brought to first class.
Train n Treat Sessions
Train n Treat Sessions - We have paused these for the moment and hope to have be offering these again in the New Year. We have replaced with our Back 2 Basics Class.
Suitable for people who are unable to commit to a 4 week class but still would like to do some training with their dog.
Held every Tuesday night from 6.30pm - 7.30pm.
Indoor venue with heating for those cold winter nights.
Suitable for dogs from 16 weeks old. Four dogs only per class. Rolling enrolment, come to 1 session or ten. Lessons can focus on basic manners to more advanced level heelwork and obedience, tricks or anything you might like extra help with.

Train n Engage Sessions

Our next Train n Engage Session will be held March 2025. Date to be confirmed.
Dogs learn more when training is fun, so get your game face on and come along to one of our fun play sessions, these sessions are designed to incorporate learning through game play with your dog.
Building connections between dogs and their people
Please note this is not a play sessions for dog to dog, but dogs learning through play and games with you.

Tricks & Treats
This class runs every Wednesday from 1pm - 2pm and is suitable for dogs from 16 weeks. Kathy will ensure the tricks are appropriate for your dog's age and skill level.
Book 1 session or as many as you like. Only 4 dogs per session. Bookings essential. $30 per session. Discount for pensioners and seniors card holders $20.
